Do Less. Get more done. Leo Babauta: The Power of Less – the fine art of limiting yourself to the essential … in business and in life.

Jeg har netop læst Leo Babautas bog “The Power of Less – the fine art of limiting yourself to the essential … in business and in life”. (Bogen kan lånes via bibliotek.dk)

Beskrivelse af bogen (fundet Her):

Do Less. Get More Done.

With the countless distractions that come from every corner
of modern life, it’s amazing that we’re ever able to accomplish
anything. The Power of Less demonstrates how to streamline your
life by identifying the essential and eliminating the unnecessary —
freeing you from everyday clutter and allowing you to focus on
accomplishing the goals that can change your life for the better.

The Power of Less will show you how to:

* Break down any goal into manageable tasks
* Focus on only a few tasks at a time
* Create new and productive habits
* Hone your focus
* Increase your efficiency

1.. Fastsætte begrænsninger
2.. Vælg de væsentlige
3.. Forenkle
4.. Fokus
5.. Opret vaner
6.. Start i det små

Bogen har sin egen hjemmeside:

Her kan man bl.a. læse følgende om Leo Babauta:

Tammy Strobel – You Can Buy Happiness (And It’s Cheap)

“Through her letters my aunt taught me about happiness, love, and the good life. In one of her letters, she described the seemingly mundane tasks of her everyday life, like watering the flowers, walking to the grocery store, and talking to her neighbors. Toward the end of the letter she wrote a few lines that surprised me. She said:

“Remember, Tammy, life is short. Do what you love and help others, too. It’s natural to think you’ll be happy if you conform to the norm. I don’t think thats true. It’s okay to be yourself. This is just a small reminder: Don’t lose track of your dreams.”

Jeg har netop afsluttet Tammy Strobels bog “You Can Buy Happiness (and It’s Cheap) – How One Woman Radically Simplified Her Life and How You Can Too” og det har været en sand fornøjelse at læse bogen.

Og til slut: “Love Life, Not Stuff”.
